Revenge of the Homeschooling Dad: Slave Trade Video Game
Reason number 1,652 that we should be teaching our children that truth at home.
All I can say is watch this:

Perhaps I could give them the benefit of the doubt if they had a Holocaust version as well. But I wonder why they do not?
I wonder if the game covered the lynchings, rape, family disconnection, in all it’s graphic and horrible detail like Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto? Not that it makes it much better, but it would certainly show the inhuman sociological foundation our country is built upon.
To make a game such as this only reinforces the “purpose” for Africans in America, and that is what causes outrage. Now, I may have a different consideration of the game captures the amount of wealth that was created, passed down and still utilized from free slave labor. Is there an alternate ending of what America would have become WITHOUT slavery? It’s a video game right? So we can let our imaginations run wild.
Overall, this is what happens when places either have a lack of diversity or, it could even have been created by a descendent of a slave who now views him or herself from the perspective of the dominant society.
Sadly, the latter is the part that no video game could possibly capture. However, it has been the longest lasting effect of “African Immigration” (as some history books say).

CornerstoneDad Podcast #15 – Reggie’s First Sermon: The Sin Line
As we wrap up our time here in our area, our days of going to the mission in our city are coming to an end. My boys have spent much time there and I’ve been asking my 16-year-old for about a year if he ever wanted to speak.
Praise God, this time, he said he was ready, and you can listen to the message HERE.
So many times we get more excited about our kid’s sports achievement, than we do about their spiritual lives. However, lets tell the truth, we get excited about how fast they run, hit, throw, swim, etc., because of the pride it brings us and the possibility of riches. We forget about
Matthew 6:21:For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also
and
Ecclesiastes 5:10: Whoever loves money never has enough;
whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.
This too is meaningless..
Yes indeed, it is truly meaningless. It would be much more difficult for our children to follow Christ making $10M per year and fame than $35K per year teaching in a school.
But 1 Cor. 9:24-25 says:
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
I’m so very proud of my son, and I thank God for his grace in allowing me to see him grow more as a brother in Christ, as he grows into the man that God wants him to be.
If we were to take the above photo again today, Reg would be one of the tallest in the shot instead of being “the little guy”. Rob is with the Lord now, but I couldn’t help but think of how proud he would be been of Reg as well.

Newly Discovered Poem By My Grandfather
As we de-clutter our lives for a major move soon, I discovered my grandfather’s obituary. Since we were just with family yesterday, I thought it would be good to go over it and tell a few stories. What I discovered was a poem that he wrote, that must forever be passed down to all the fathers in our family and deserves to be a staple on this blog, as it captures the kind of dad I strive to be, and the kind I want to encourage all of you guys reading this to be as well.
A Man To Admire
To the man I have always respected,
To his command I have never rejected.
He seems to be some kind of master mind,
But to each of our problems he always had time.
But there is something I can’t understand,
How he controls himself and never gives a harsh demand.
Sure he is human as everyone else,
But the way that he handles things is something else.
You know, I envy him in so many ways,
When we’ve done something extra, he always gives us praise.
He has set a beautiful example, for everyone to see,
And I will try harder each day,
That type of person to be.
- Always remember…

Homeschool History Lesson Of The Week: 12 Childhood Nursery Rhymes You Didn’t Realize Were Racist
Homeschool History Lesson of the Week recommendation!
12 Childhood Nursery Rhymes You Didn’t Realize Were Racist
Folks, you must check this out. How many of them did you sing as a child or teach your children?
Now some will still say, “Why does everything have to be about race?” Well, my question is the same, why did everything have to be about so-called race?
For Christians that say, “Isn’t this just about being PC?” Well, would we have the children sing an Xmas song that was actually a tribute to satan but the words have been changed? How many won’t even let their kids read Harry Potter because of witchcraft?
This list of 12 could be analyzed at 3 per day, having the children investigate the 5Ws and 1H:
Who wrote it?
What is the song about and trying to teach?
Where was it most popular?
When was it written and popular?
Why would these songs/rhymes be so popular?
How do you view these songs now that you know the real meaning? (The “how” could vary depending on age).

Cruisin’ With CSD On Woodward Ave: 2015 Friday Night Lights

Cruisin’ With CSD On Woodward Ave – 2015…Mustang Crew In The House
It’s Friday Night and “We Ready”!
Changing names to protect the quick and dirty…we have:
From the left: Godfather of the bunch – Cobra J with his concrete-shedding Shelby that always turns heads standing still and wherever he rolls up. For those Bow-Ties and Exotics that think, “Oh, it’s just a Shelby Mustang…”. I say, “Good look with that.”
CSD – with the ’95 GT.
Brother X with some ’86 Four-Eyed Pride – He travels over 4 states each year for just this event! Each year I’ve seen him, I think he’s had a different Stang. May I add, Brother X is a good bro that we’ve got to know through the Dream Cruise. As I get older, I realize that you don’t meet many genuine folks in this life, and it’s been fun getting to know X each year.
Son of a CSD and CSD himself – My Son! Representing in his own ’88 Fox GT…and no, there’s not an AT in the group.
But because we do believe in diversity among the Brothers, my cuz even found us with his convertible SS over to the far left! So just to give him some love, below is an even better show of his ride…(but let it be known that he a BAD and heavily modded notchback a few years ago). Cuz always has a way of doing the Paula Abdul and “making a ride his own”, so stay-tuned as I’m sure this will turn out to be a pretty unique S/S in the months to come. He purchased it recently and it already looks different!

Cruisin’ With CSD On Woodward Ave – 2015
Get ready CSDs that have love for all things cars!
The single greatest car event in the WORLD (as far as I know and you all know me, I’m not an “arrogant American”) takes place in Michigan every August.
For the last couple of years, I’ve taken Black Thunder down to Mustang Alley in Ferndale, Michigan. Since I had a wedding to attend Saturday night, I didn’t get a chance to cruise too much on the main day, but I got more than enough in on Friday night.
So more pics are coming, but for now…
Here was Black Thunder getting shined up one final time Saturday morning (after only 4 hours of sleep from the night before) as I headed out with the girls.
Oh, and on that note, the plan was to take the girls Saturday morning as I took the boys Friday night. I woke my girls up Saturday at 5 am and I knew they were tired. I tried to give them an out, and said, “If it’s too early, you don’t have to go.” But what did they say? “That’s okay, we want to go!”
Ah kid…that’s a tear-jerking moment right there. After spending 7 hours in the hot and humid weather and another 3 in the car…in traffic…with only the windows down (you really didn’t think I’d use the A/C did ya?)…that night I received a good night kiss and a “thanks for taking us to Woodward”.

Race-Baiting 101 – A Quick Vid For Everyone
Bravo…Bravo…This wasn’t just for black folks, it exposes the lies that many white folks have been fed over the last 200 years as well.
Ever wonder why the closer so-called “lower class” whites are economically to their “black neighbors”, there’s an increase in racial tension when it should actually decrease? Both groups have a common interest as they are impacted by the same conditions that have them neighbors!
Therefore, you must check out this quick video!
